GAME NAME: Phantasy Star 0

STORY: 7/10
Not much of a story. This game give you a chance to create your own character between three different races. You are given a different story for each of these races, set in another planet. The stories, however, all have the same plot and elements. Letting your character learn about the 200 year gap between the present and what they call "THE GREAT BLANK".

GAMEPLAY: 10/10
It has one of the best gameplays ever in a DS game. One that is much like Monster Hunter (PSP). You go around the story doing quests and earn money along the way. Also being able to do multiplayer quests with your friends and also online through wi-fi, this game is a sure hard-on for any gamer. Words cannot explain the gameplay of this game, so it is a must try for everyone.

GRAPHICS: 9/10
The graphics are mush like the graphics of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (DS). A 3D setting with a 3D set of characters. The graphics of this game are pretty good.

SOUND: 8/10
The music itself is very appealing and will not bore you to death. Although, the grunts and moans of your character may get repetitive.

NEW STUFF: 9/10
Creation of character with different sets of races is very common in MMORPG games, though not common in a DS game. You can also make one file for each race. There is a "Visual Chat" feature that lets you chat with your teammates (much like the PICTOCHAT), which is also commonly found in MMORPG's. This basically, "an online game at the palm of your hands" as said by a reviewer in Famitsu Magazine.

PROS:
- Very much like an online game.
-Character Creation
-Great Game Controls, Game Play and Online Mode
-Over 300 Weapons
-Weapons can be upgraded
-Hard Quests (for real, they're hard)
-They brought back the MAG system

CONS:
-You can't pause the game during a quest (everything is still moving even if you press the menu button)


OVERALL: 9/10
