The story is good. Same thing as usual, you look for the princess. Bowser gets the princess then goes up the castle of Peach. But to go to the top, you have to get a curtain amount of Stars to open doors, passages and to go up the "endless" stairs. You have to find 100 stars in 10+ Maps to get up the "endless" stairs. Though it sounds easy, it ain't. Finding a star in a huge place is very hard. There are bosses too.

Game play: 8/10

It isn't like super mario on the nintendo color or anything older then that. It's like 3-D, but you can still jump on blocks . (When I mean 3-D, you can look 360 degrees move front, back, left,.) right You kill enemies either by jumping on them or picking them up and throwing it to someone OR PUNCHING IT. It still has those green pipes . You can get different hats. A wing hat can make you fly, a invisible hat can make you Invisible, A silver hat can make you Silver. Oh, and you go to maps by going to a Painting.

Graphics: 8/10

Even though Nintendo 64 is a old game console, it has awesome graphics.

Sound: 8/10

It has different sounds on every different maps. It has the princess Peach's Castle sounds. It even has Mario's lines like "Yi-Pii!" " Yeahaa!" "WWAAAAAA!" And when you leave him Idle, first he yawns, then he slowly goes to the ground and sleeps.

New Thing:

It isn't in 2-D unlike some Mario Games on the nintendo. You can punch those walking mushrooms, jump+ stomp on those mushrooms too. It's on 3-D like. Your hat can fly away and you can see Mario's Hair . It's like one of the best old games.

Pros:

You can punch or kick enemies
You can get different hats that makes you different
It has more than 15+ big maps.
Cool Graphics.

Cons:

Only for Nintendo 64
Nintendo 64 isn't selling stuff like these anymore

Dude, Old game console but it's in 3-D AND IT'S COLORED. Sometimes, there are puzzles to do so that you can go to another room. It has almost all the original Characters like Mario, Peach, The ghost, The walking mushroom, The big fish and Bowser.

Recommended for EVERYONE. It's a very Fun game. I still want to play it but my Nintendo 64 Broke =(.



Princess Peach's castle. It's really BIG inside.

They actually re-made this in the Nintendo DS with better graphics.
I'm not quite sure why they still called it "Super Mario 64 DS" though.

Almost all the Nintendo 64 games are named with a "64" . Maybe it's just Super Mario DS or something. Worth buying
